Literature as an experiential accelerator: An educational exploration
Enrico Orsenigo
This contribution explores some dimensions of literature as a device that delivers experiences, enabling a series of refractions in subjectivity; among these: inferential walks, the role of metaphors, the transition from an alphabetic state to the incorporation of narratives into the unity of personality. Literature, therefore, serves as a potential set of attitudes, styles, and tactics to be discovered and brought into interaction with everyday life events. At the same time, it is a continually preparatory zone, a laboratory of experiences not meant to be shared, destined to fuel an unrelenting exegesis of the self.
