Beyond the digital: Rethinking adolescent antisociality in the onlife era

Pascal Perillo, Vitaliano Corbi

The article aims to contribute to a possible rethinking of the relationship between the phenomenon of Adolescent Antisocial Behavior (AAB) and artificial intelligence, with particular reference to technologies capable of «reontologizing» reality. Specifically, the focus is on how the representations of AAB by educational professionals and adolescents shape their relational dynamics, and on how life conducted online influences the formation of identity and critical thinking in youth. This is approached through a transactional epistemological and methodological perspective aiming to promote an active and responsible digital citizenship, by addressing the unique needs of adolescents united by the perception of difficulty.
