The training clinic to reflect on interculturality in early childhood services
Farnaz Farahi
Taking an intercultural perspective means embracing the sphere of knowledge and civic reconstruction and therefore assuming responsibility towards society. This assumption of responsibility becomes increasingly necessary nowadays, in which the increase in the migration phenomenon corresponds to a growing disinterest in the values and cultures coming from other countries and, quoting Ricoeur, a perception of threat to one’s own identity. It is necessary to move the intercultural discussion from the belly to the head to encourage greater reflexivity on the educational practices implemented. Within this contribution it is proposed to use the methodological device of the training clinic to think and rethink interculture within educational services.
