The Idea of a Teacher
Massimo Baldacci, Enrico Bocciolesi, Maria-Chiara Michelini, Luca Odini, Stefano Oliverio
The article argues for the need to relate teacher education to a precise idea of what a teacher is. This idea is problematic, and its definition can only be relative from a historical point of view. However, such a definition can be prepared by a reconnaissance into the web of potential models of the teaching figure, of which the article proposes a series of examples.
