Relationship Between Educational Quality and Social Development: A Systematic Review of Literature

Matilde Bolaño García

This article obeys the logical sequence of bibliometric studies, seeking to identify the current development of literature around educational quality and, since education is an element linked to social development, its influence on it. The sequence followed obeyed the quantitative paradigm with a descriptive cross-sectional approach. For the collection of information, the Scopus database was used, from which 36 documents were obtained. Each was subjected to an exhaustive analysis, from which graphs and illustrations were derived. We found that the first manuscript was published in 2010 and that only during the COVID-19 pandemic did these increase significantly. However, it turns out to be little in more than a decade, for which it can be concluded that there must be a greater immersion of the scientific and academic community. Turning to quality education is imperative to ensure social development.
