Job Satisfaction Scale: First contribution to the validation of the Italian version

Annamaria Di Fabio

The aim of this study is to offer a first contribution to the validation of the Italian version of the Job Satisfaction Scale (JSS). Two hundred and sixty-eight workers participated in the study. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a unidimensional structure. In addition, good internal consistency and concurrent validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the JSS is a valid instrument for measuring job satisfaction also in the Italian context.
