Work Pedagogy, in its double theoretic and praxis dimensions, shows itself as an important tool for understanding the contemporary age of “end of work”. It can be considered a science for engagement and mediation, able to tie contexts, people, knowledges and models, as well as promoting intelligences, possibilities, scenarios, ambitions. Thence, the essay gives a reflection upon the definition of the specific role that Work Pedagogy can today carry out in re-tying the difficult relationship between education and work. Among the plural practical translation that it can plan and realize, the Work Pedagogy unveils itself as a “militant” science for the promotion of work guidance through pedagogical placement and work engagement, both fundamental for the building of professional development plans and for the promotion of a “good work” culture within a Life Long Learning perspective.
