Peter Noykov’s habilitation thesis on the psychologic nature of Jesuit education

The article presents a little-known and unfinished work of Petar Noykov, left in manuscript, On the psychological nature of Jesuit education, clarifying the reasons for writing it and tracing its content. Based mainly on German and French sources and Ratio atque Institutio Studiorum Societatis Iesu (1599), the document that defines the foundations of the educational system of the Jesuits, in his research Petar Noykov examines the psychological aspects of Jesuit education and seeks an answer to the question whether this education is active or passive.
