Towards an ethical-social curriculum

Silvia Fioretti

This contribution illustrates the partial results of research that aims to investigate and understand the factors that favour or hinder a hypothesis of an ethical-social curriculum in the context of pre-adolescents. The exploratory research is conducted on a small group of teachers via the focus group methodology with the aim of different perspectives and intends to investigate the opinions and beliefs of the subjects involved. In the paper the structure of the ethical-social curriculum is described through the interpretation of the opinions and judgments collected from secondary school teachers. From this rendition are analyzed the consolidated values, the critical issues and the areas to be improved.
