Moral education and anomie

The main objective of this contribution is to examine and systematise the central elements of Durkheim’s work in order to highlight its underlying theoretical approach and its interpretive frame of reference regarding the emergence of modern society. In particular, the article focuses on the concepts of moral education and anomie in order to highlight their relevance in relation to the challenges faced by sociological and pedagogical thinking in the contemporary world.
