Methodology of working with ePortfolio in University teaching. An assessment of the competencies at the end of the first cycle of studies

The article presents an educational experiment carried out by the Faculty of Education of the Salesian Pontifical University, Rome, which aims to evaluate the possibility of using the methodology of working with the ePortfolio for presenting an account of the competencies developed at the end of the first cycle of studies. The presentation will consist of the method of implementing and the first observations after the pilot phase. There will also be an outlining of a theoretical frame of reference and some researches that highlight the potentialities of the ePortfolio in order to maintain the development of the competencies in the formative process.
