Lino Rossi, Enrico Orsenigo, Cecilia Pellizzari, Annamaria De Santis, Tommaso Minerva

In the research conducted by Rossi et al. (2023a, 2023b), focus groups were conducted with 24 high school students. The topics addressed in these discussions pertain to the students’ opinions regarding digital skills, use of digital tools, communication styles, and views on communication instruments. The results of the qualitative analysis reveal the students’ perception of their digital skills, which are described as more intuitive compared to those of adults. The study also explores shared family rules concerning device usage, students’ communication preferences, and their individual use of digital tools. Furthermore, it delves into the risks and potentials associated with digital environments.
