The First Twenty Years of the Bologna Process. Problems and Perspectives in Europe and Italy

In the first two decades of the third millennium, the Bologna process was the main event in the evolution of higher education in Europe. This article describes and analyses the factors that have favoured its emergence in our continent, the main orientations, progress and setbacks, strong points and critical points and future prospects. The examination is not limited to an overall view of the evolution in Europe, but explores the impact on our country as well.
