Generazione off/on line – Cultura videoludica violenta, comportamenti aggressivo-bullistici e aggregazione con il gruppo dei pari devianti nei nativi digitali

Vincenzo Cascino

The research tries to explore the relationship between violent videogames, aggressive, violent, bullying behaviours and peer-deviant group aggregation in male pupils in the primary and middle school (6/14 years old boys). The examined sample is composed of 532 pupils attending southern Italy primary schools. The utilized tools are: Physical and verbal aggressiveness scale (Caprara & Pastorelli, 1993) to measure the inclination to aggressiveness in interpersonal contexts; Peer-deviant group aggregation scale (Capaldi & Patterson, 1992) in order to measure the features of the peers hanging out with the boy; VG.FAM2014 Questionnaire to measure the grade of familiarity with videogames. The analysis has highlighted that there isn’t a strong relationship between violent videogames, aggressive, violent, bullying behaviours and peer-deviant group aggregation all over the different years of the primary school of first grade (middle school).
