Promoting collective work and creative self-efficacy in organizations: A participatory action research
Manuela Zambianchi
The theoretical model of participatory action research, which is based on the conjunction of theoretical research and active participation to change through a democratic route chosen by all members of the institution, was utilized in order to improve the collective efficacy and the creative collective efficacy of the members of Confcommercio Ascom Lugo, an organisation representing local entrepreneurs. The level of perceived collective work efficacy of members of Ascom was compared with the perceived collective efficacy that a sample of entrepreneurs perceives about Ascom Lugo. Results led to the structuring of three encounters of active participatory workshops with all the staff, focusing respectively on group creativity, social identity, complex thought and proactive coping strategies.
