Proactive Personality Scale: First study on the psychometric properties of the Italian version

Annamaria Di Fabio, Alessio Gori

The purpose of this study is to analyse the psychometric properties of the Italian version of the Proactive Personality Scale. Participants were 239 university students. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a unidimensional version of the scale. In addition, good internal consistency and concurrent validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the Proactive Personality Scale is a valid instrument for measuring proactive personality of students in Italian contexts.
