Prosocial Organizational Behaviors Scale: First contribution to the validation of the Italian version

Annamaria Di Fabio, Ornella Bucci

The purpose of this study is to offer a first contribution to the validation of the Italian version of the Prosocial Organizational Behaviors Scale. Participants were 212 workers. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a three-dimensional version of the scale. In addition, good internal consistency and concurrent validity were established. Results indicate that the Prosocial Organizational Behaviors Scale is a valid instrument for measuring prosocial organizational behaviors also in Italian contexts.
