Occupational Engagement Scale: First contribution to the Italian validation for workers
Annamaria Di Fabio, Letizia Palazzeschi
The aim of this study is to offer a first contribution to the validation of the Italian version of the Occupational Engagement Scale (OES) for workers. 181 workers participated. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a bi-dimensional structure of the scale. In addition, good internal consistency and validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the Occupational Engagement Scale for workers is a valid instrument for measuring occupational engagement also in Italian contexts.
