Dispositional Measure of Employability: First study on the evaluation of the psychometric properties of the Italian version

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Italian version of the Dispositional Measure of Employability (DME). 296 workers participated. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a five-dimensional version of the scale. In addition, good internal consistency and validity were established. Results indicate that the Dispositional Measure of Employability is a valid instrument for measuring employability in the Italian context.
