Pay Satisfaction Questionnaire: First contribution to the validation of the Italian version

Annamaria Di Fabio

The aim of this study is to offer a first contribution to the validation of the Italian version of the Pay Satisfaction Questionnaire (PSQ). Three hundred and twenty-six participants were involved in the study. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a four-dimensional structure of the instrument. Good internal consistency and validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the PSQ is a valid instrument for measuring the constructs of pay satisfaction also in the Italian context.
