The Innovative Behavior Inventory (IBI): Factorial structure and reliability of the Italian version

Annamaria Di Fabio, Mirko Duradoni

The aim of this study is to study the factorial structure and the reliability of the Italian version of the Innovative Behavior Inventory (IBI). Two hundred and seventy Italian participants were recruited. Confirmatory factor analysis supported the seven-dimensional structure of the original scale. Also, the reliability levels detected for the Italian version are in line with those of the original scale. The results suggested that the Italian form of the Innovative Behavior Inventory (IBI) is suitable, in terms of dimensionality and reliability, for the measurement of innovative behaviour at an individual level in the Italian context.
