The Research Centre on Vocational Guidance and Socio-Professional Development (CROSS) celebrates thirty years of activity dedicated to promoting vocational guidance as a tool for personal development and a contribution to societal improvement. Founded in 1994, CROSS has integrated scientific research and practical interventions in educational, university, and socially vulnerable contexts. By designing innovative methodologies and operational tools, the centre has supported educators, trainers, and counselors, advancing guidance that transcends psychotechnical techniques and focuses on holistic personal development. The main areas of intervention include educational and career guidance, the development of soft skills, and the socio-professional inclusion of vulnerable groups, such as refugees. Its scientific output, characterized by validations of innovative tools and international publications, has advanced the evolution of guidance practices. Projects like ESPoR, EMoCC, Smart Road, and Fabbrica del Talento highlight CROSS’s ongoing commitment to addressing contemporary social and cultural challenges. By contributing to educational and professional innovation, this research centre establishes itself as a key reference point for guidance that values individuals in their complexity, placing them at the centre of a dialogue between research, education, and the future.
