The role of learning strategies in demotivation and in the future
Giuseppe Crea, Sofia Maria Cavallaro
The concept of time contributes to the growth process of pre-adolescents, especially in this age, in which they must strengthen their awareness of available resources to develop constructive adaptation processes. This study investigates the relationship between the dimensions of the time perspective and their relationship with learning strategies, and the influence which time processes have on motivational dimensions and strategic skills. Research confirms that learning based on the improvement of cognitive, affective and motivational strategies can efficiently influence disaffection from study, especially if individual differences are considered regarding the time factor.
