The AUSL of Bologna set up a company group to counter work distress, with the aim of designing and implementing measures for the promotion of organizational well-being and the overcoming of distress. The methodology integrates the «Demands-Resources» model with Empowerment. 218 interventions were offered in seven years, with a positive result of 95%. The main types are Emotional Support and Leadership, followed by Counseling on Conflicts in the Work Group, the Planning of Interventions to improve the internal atmosphere and Counseling on Work Distress. The proposed theoretical model is a good method of analysis and design, the professional group plan to implement effectiveness measures and data collection, as well as a review of the taxonomic categories.
