Together with other useful legislation to enforce constitutional principles of substantive equality and democratic education, these legislative measures aim to realize the ideal of equity in education. The effects of the legislation will be analyzed with the help of research evidence, to understand whether the desired democratic nature has been achieved or remains a chimera.
