«Learning through Storytelling»: An experimental project with preschool children

With this in mind, we designed a storytelling project for infants with the intention of developing their expressive and receptive language abilities through active listening to dramatized stories. 43 children were directly tested before the first meeting, after which they were indirectly tested again, this time through interviews with their parents and teachers after 5 meetings. Parents gave positive feedback as to their child(ren)’s linguistic and non-linguistic abilities, whilst teachers pointed out the reduced number of meetings due to the coronavirus emergency.
