La parola che dà forma. Mito e poiesis nell’educazione degli Shuar dell’Amazzonia ecuadoriana
Anita Gramigna
The aim of these considerations is the educational analysis of Shuar’s tales and myths. The starting hypothesis of this research, that has a mainly bibliographic character, is that mythology, far from being just a narration of ancestral knowledge, is a technique for conservation and conveyance of the original culture of this community. The premise of this work is to consider the narration as a form of thought and education as reciprocal listening between narrating subjects. Therefore, we studied the myths, the fables, the tales, because, in our opinion, in this context, they represent education’s privileged language. The epistemological background has an hermeneutic character and an ethnographic methodological point of view.
