Intorno all’orientamento: si volta pagina – Movimenti sistemici per una prospettiva di sviluppo
Anna Grimaldi
The purpose of this article is to investigate guidance policy in Italy with reference to recent State-Regional agreements approved in a unified conference. In the context of a scenario that shows strong differentiation in policy, and in professional practice in different areas and different educational and work contexts, the documents represent an important systemic perspective moving towards the establishment of a national system of guidance. To date, the lack of any central/institutional coordination has severely restricted the effectiveness and efficiency of guidance policies, resulting in a framework whose episodic nature and fragmentation has impeded the development of a system of integrated guidance. The documents approved represent an important prerequisite to promote the transfer from the guidance as professional practical in support of the individual to effective instrument of active employment policy to support employability and improve work conditions, however to achieve the Italian project of development and coordination is necessary to improve the real integration between different institutions. The article closes with a proposal of development for setting up a national resources center of guidance.
