The sharenting phenomenon. Reflections and new interpretations of classic theoretical principles
Antonia Rubini, Crescenza Mazzaraco
Widely among different social fabrics, the phenomenon of sharenting (Dell’Antonia, 2016) represents a new way of communicating through the media diffusion of personal contents that go beyond the private dimension to become public, often without questioning the consequences that the demolition of the boundaries between public and private could have on the identity development of the new generations. Starting from a review of the literature on the topic, this work proposes diversified reflections that address the reasons that lead adults to practice sharenting (Cino and Demozzi, 2017).
