Working for United Nations Nowadays: Complexity and competencies

This essay, retracing some fundamental processes of transformation of the world of government organizations and in particular of the United Nations, intends to define the scope of the «pedagogy of work» as a discipline — in particular in the development of behavioural and value skills — and to parameterize the areas of main pedagogical interventions. Among these, the career pathing and pedagogical placement system. The pedagogical approach emphasizes the dimension of individual and organizational growth in a multilateral context such as that of the United Nations and as a fundamental element of research and scientific debate on the subject.
