The article intends to propose some reflections on the didactics of cinema, related to the other visual arts, in the perspective of an innovative training proposal sensitive to the demands of a society increasingly characterized by image communication, in which the fields of knowledge are always less pre-determined. The contribution unfolds through a brief excursus on the re-discovery of the fundamental statements, in order to reconsider the definition of didactics of cinema and the analysis of polysemic language, which is peculiar to moving images, in light of changes in both fruition and production panorama as it has been implemented by digital system.
The invitation, addressed to those interested in investigating the potential of the art defined as «temple of the modern» and «inexhaustible subject», is to acquire specific tools and skills in order to formulate hypotheses of experimentation and to identify innovative solutions to the increasing problems present in the classes. Repositioning, then, cinema as relation and interpretation medium of the world through the unifying device/space of the inside-outside relationship of the school: the screen.
