«Before I die I want to…». A study on life purposes and death representation

The article presents a pilot study conducted on a sample of students from the Salesian University of Rome, that on the one hand analyzed, with a qualitative approach, the life purposes expressed by the participants using the qualitative methodology, according to the method known as «Before I die I want to...» replicated in many parts of the world, and linked them to the motivational systems; on the other hand, the study investigated the possible correlations between some variables, such as the style of attachment, the profiles of Ego States, the representation of death , the perception of meaning of life.
