In this moment crossed by strong dynamics of change, in which the future of the people is constantly being redefined, it becomes fundamental questions about the new role of guidance and therefore the need to trainers. Trainers’ competence development benefits from a systematic approach: define what trainers need, provide training and learning opportunities. The training of counsellors is still poorly defined and often entrusted to improvised paths that are not always based on sound scientific basis, with the risk of confusion that does not allow people to make informed choices not only for their professional future but also for self-realization. And then you need to practice and services are anchored in solid and stable reference models, such explicit objectives and shared, to a careful and permanent reading and analysis of the demand, to valid and reliable instruments, models of expertise and professionalism of clearly defined, structures and equipment.
