Keeping in the background the U.S. Education and Training System (discussed elsewhere), here we summarize the typical elements that U.S. prospective teachers have to face to realize their ambitions. In particular: academic education, student teaching, path to certification/license. Then, referring to the common elements, we highlight the necessary distinctions among professional careers in different Education and Training settings.
