Considering in deep the «secret» of the schools founded and guided by Lorenzo Milani in Calenzano and Barbiana, this article suggests a possible omeomorphical connection with the experience of the community of philosophical inquiry, in particular the one developed according to Lipman in the Philosophy for Children movement. We try to express some interesting points to rethink the meaning of «making school» and to question the aspects and problems of the teacher’s profile, ending with some notes on its feasibility in our contemporary world.
