Emo subculture: Qualitative analysis

The aim of this paper was to identify the most representative features about Emo subculture in general e in particular in Messina using qualitative analysis. The research involved ten people and results said that young boys and girls think the society reject them and for this reason they feel inadequate. Hair’s fringe, black clothing, jewelry with skulls and brokenhearted, piercing etc. are elements used to stand by other people and to build their own identity belonging to a group.
