For a pedagogy of effectiveness or adaptability. A preliminary approach in six lessons and two principles
Nadia Fellini, Alfredo Vismara
In pedagogy the issue of the effectiveness of education is often raised. The reflection calls into question strategy, which should aim towards the best use of intellectual, cultural, material and structural resources in relation to the desired result. If education aims to teach the human species to survive in a complex, interdependent, densely populated world with limited resources, it should be based on some key values and on a strategic intelligence capable of putting itself in an immediate relationship with the real and to leverage the evolution of things. The reflection develops starting from the retrospective analysis of six educational experiences to extrapolate two founding principles of a strategic nature, which combine the need for effectiveness with the urgency of sustainability.
