The multiple faces of conflict

The article aims to reflect on the frequently hidden discredit of conflict by contemporary society, by mass media and by the economy. The discredit may lead to a loss of creativity and of potential associated with conflict, and it may simultaneously encourage the most extreme manifestations of conflict, those that should instead be discouraged.
