Contributions coming from youth studies: Reasoned bibliography
Davide Basili
The following contributions refer to the research and studies expressed by different authors in the last two years, both in the Italian context and in the United Kingdom. We chose to divide the material into three main areas: the first concerns the use of the internet in everyday life, that is the frequency and method of access with which young people use the internet in everyday life; the second refers to the activities carried out most frequently on the internet by young people, mainly the use of social networks; finally, the third area is centered on the risks of using internet, both in terms of negative experiences that can be experienced (hate speech, unwanted sexual messages, cyberbullying), and in terms of lack of self-protection (sexting, internet addiction ).
