La lezione PAS come modello per costruire in classe un ambiente di apprendimento significativo e inclusivo
Maria Cuzzato, Lucia Papa
During the school year 2012-13 we carried out an experimental study analysing the effects of Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE) Program in the context of regular teaching practice in the classroom. The results show an improvement in the flexibility of thought and in the ability to solve problems in new situations, which is higher in the experimental classes than in control ones. This article analyzes the free and informal evaluations expressed by the teachers involved in the study in their final reports. Their comments cover both the changes observed in the students and those perceived by teachers on their own way to approach work at school. The analysis of their responses revealed how the organization of the lesson PAS and the specific objectives promoted by FIE Program act as a trigger to create situations of meaningful learning.
