Religious education in the Italian scholastic system is part of the disciplines of common area and it is present as a curricular subject in the courses of study of all the orders and degrees of education. Recalling that the school educates, the article wants to highlight as the religious instruction may Religion and Religiosity. Knowledge and Religious knowledge help to make educational the school experience and do it working around the «religious learning», according to the trajectories characteristic to school itinerary. Religious education could be the way of humanization, accepting new challenges in the hermeneutical, pedagogical and ethic field.
