Cooperazione allo sviluppo, salute mentale e educazione
Luciano Carrino
Based on the authors’ experience of the cooperative programme called Prodere, which dealt with refugee and displaced
populations during the lengthy civil war years in Central America, which ended at the beginning of the ‘90s, he looks at the relationship between the dynamics of the mind and the traumatic reality of war and violence. New concepts come to light, like that of «basic mental health», and the problem of the connection between the dynamics of the mind and those of the development of human societies is posed.
