This article presents some reflections on the lecturing experience of teaching Special Pedagogy as part of a degree course in Sports Science and Physical Education and on the multiple problematic aspects regarding the dynamics of classroom teaching. The academic programme, in such a particular subject area, makes it necessary to offer theoretical content, which, on the one hand, is essential for carrying out professional activities and, on the other hand, really supports the creation of inclusive processes in a sports setting. Existing prejudices and cultural barriers demand the design of training programmes which are capable of knocking down certainties and guiding and widening students’ perspectives in order to encourage new inclusive educational and sporting scenarios.
