L’università della diversità come sfida dello Spazio Iberoamericano della Conoscenza

José M. Fernández Batanero

Phenomena like globalisation, general migratory flows, new information and communication technologies, the
influence of social networks, the heterogeneity of students and their different places of origin mean that the professors
who make up the Ibero-American knowledge space must develop attitudes of openness, flexibility, tolerance, acceptance and promotion of individual and group differences. Educational inclusion of all university students is one of the most significant educational and pedagogical needs of the 21st century. This article analyses and describes the abilities and didactic competences needed to face this challenge.
