L’abilità mentalistica dei bambini sordi e il ruolo degli adulti significativi

This article presents several studies, conducted in Italy, dealing with the theory of the mentalistic ability of deaf children and the role played by parents and professional caregivers. The results show that gaps in the development of the deaf child cannot simply be attributed to the organic deficit, but, from a multifactorial and systemic point of view, must be considered the significant contexts and partners of the deaf child.
