La gestione della classe: buone prassi all’ingresso nella scuola primaria
Antonella Conti, Elvira Priori, Ada Betti
The article illustrates the methods to address effectively the problems existing in a class of particularly unmanageable children. Reference is made to a first year class in a primary school characterised by the absence of rules and by the presence of a strongly integrated group able to exclude adults. The work begins by observing the students’ behaviour and encodes some essential rules to improve the learning environment. Strategies are adopted which take into account scientifically validated research work and studies and which aim to achieve the effective respect of the shared rules and the parents are involved by enabling educational synergies. The behavioural compliance by a substantial part of the group was recorded after a few months with an internalization of the main rules. The improved climate of the class therefore enabled the teachers to focus on education.
