Alla scoperta del mondo superando l’oscurità

Claudia Costa, Emanuele Poli

The aim of integrating a blind student in the class group, as well as achieving the utmost proficiency in the various
school disciplines, forms the basis of the educational process described in this article that highlights how the meeting
of an educator expert in typhlo-teaching and a geographic sciences lecturer enabled an original and innovative interdisciplinary approach to be adopted involving all the curricular areas. The path followed to-date has not only helped the blind student, but also the entire class group to appreciate geography in an engrossing way, a subject that sometimes receives little consideration. By starting from the ministerial programmes, the mutual conviction was reached that there was the need to jointly build together a world truly made for everyone and «friendly» to everyone.
