IEP: the Italian way to inclusion between established and innovative path

In this contribution the authors reflect on the Individualized Educational Plan trying to frame it within the historical itinerary that has characterized the inclusive process in our country and thus bring out the multiple implications in the incessant dialectic between what is already established and the innovative path as engines of the evolution of the Italian school and social system. The opportunity to weave these threads is given by the recent publication of the new IEP model following the issue of Interministerial Decree 182 on 29 December 2020.
