This paper deepens the role, in the scholastic context, of the narration of parents with disabled children both as a reflective and cathartic tool also meant as a formative value for the writer, but also for the teachers and the whole educating community. We describe, as a good practice, the Pedagogy Methodology of the Parents and the theoretical frame essentially referring to Freire’s critical pedagogy, underlining the importance of conscientizing the parents, enhancing and collecting the narratives of the educational itineraries made with children. These narratives are recognized and accepted by experts dealing with human relationships as a cognitive tool essential to their professionalism. In conclusion, this piece of work ends with an example of a parent’s narration in an educational context implemented for the said described methodology.
