Il metodo Feuerstein: un’opportunità di potenziamento cognitivo per gli allievi con difficoltà di apprendimento?

The Feuerstein method has been used for many years in various countries throughout the world and has also proved to be useful in the cognitive enhancement of students with learning diffi culties. The article describes an experimental application of the method in a number of junior secondary school classes that involved 20 teachers and approximately 100 students. The interviews and the questionnaires involving the participants demonstrate that the Instrument Enrichment Programme (Programma di Arricchimento Strumentale/PAS) can also achieve appreciable results in overcoming learning diffi culties in the case of persons with disabilities.
